A welcoming family-run establishment with a clean and charming interior, making it a comfortable retreat. The room was spacious with a sea view, and the restaurant served excellent meals, particularly the well-kept ales. Breakfast was made to order, but the absence of a continental option was a drawback. A lovely atmosphere was enhanced by friendly staff who catered to our needs with ease.

would definitely return here
Our family room with sea view was spacious and immaculate. It had a flat-screen TV, coffee maker, and a private bathroom with free toiletries. The bathroom had a shower and was stocked with shampoo and conditioner. The breakfast was delicious, featuring locally sourced ingredients, ensuring we started our days right. Dog-friendly policies made our stay even better, as our pet felt very welcome.

Stunning coastal views, charming garden space, dog-friendly vibe
Parking situation could use improvement!!! Indoor temperatures often chilly, requiring jackets indoors. Some rooms need better maintenance and cleanliness attention!!! Noise from the lively pub atmosphere might disrupt your stay!!!

Perfect Base for Exploring the Coastal Area
I stayed for two nights in a Standard Double Room while exploring the beautiful local area. The room was clean and comfortable, with great thoughtful touches such as bottled water and ample tea and coffee supplies. I really enjoyed the delicious homemade food served, especially the local pies which were fantastic. It's a lovely pub atmosphere that made for a very enjoyable dining experience. One area for improvement could be the limited breakfast options available.

The coastal views from the family rooms are striking, offering a beautiful backdrop for a relaxing stay. The historic charm of the building is matched by well-furnished rooms filled with thoughtful extras like quality toiletries and smart TVs, enhancing the comfort of the experience.
While the menu boasts hearty options, it tends to be limited, so if you're staying for longer, the same dishes can become monotonous. there have been reports of cleaning attention needing a bit more focus in certain corners, which might affect ones overall feeling of cleanliness.
